For this project, I chose to focus on the issues that black men go through. For years black men have been painted as criminals and treated like less than human beings. Black men are unappreciated. Because of the way society portrays them they feel as if they have to act tough and be masculine at all times. I wanted to show the soft and vulnerable side of black men that society does not get to see.
